Graph Check

Graph check is a dense, fine check of thin single lines crossing on a pale ground, named for its likeness to ruled graph paper. It is a common shirting pattern, smaller and tighter than windowpane. Because the lines are thin and evenly spaced, the cloth reads as a near-solid pastel from a distance.
